Ukraine Strikes Yekaterinburg and Tyumen – Athletics Championships Evacuated
President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed a new wave of Ukrainian strikes deep inside Russia, hitting Tyumen and Yekaterinburg in the Urals, where Russia's national athletics championships were taking place, prompting an evacuation. Facilities on the Caspian Sea, which Zelensky said were used to transport military cargo from Iran, were also targeted. The governor of Belgorod Oblast reported two deaths as a result of the Ukrainian strikes.
