Sun holds 55% more silver than previously estimated, new analysis finds

A new analysis using advanced solar atmosphere models found the Sun contains 55% more silver than earlier estimates, bringing the figure into much closer agreement with measurements from ancient meteorites. The technique may help scientists trace the cosmic origins of silver and other heavy elements.
