Global South pays creditors at the expense of children's education

Millions of children in Global South countries are losing access to education because governments are forced to prioritise debt repayments over social spending under the current global financial order. The authors call for a reform of the international financial system to protect investment in education. Without structural change, debt obligations will continue to crowd out spending on children.
