Teenage Morrissey's pre-Smiths letters to go under the hammer

A collection of letters written by Morrissey between the ages of 14 and 20, addressed to a Birmingham pen pal, is set to go to auction. The correspondence dates from before the formation of The Smiths and offers a rare glimpse into the singer's youth.
