Peacock is moving quickly on casting its much-anticipated Dungeon Crawler Carl adaptation. Yesterday, during a spotlight panel focused on the litRPG's bestselling author, Matt Dinniman , at San Diego Comic-Con , the first star of the upcoming live-action series was announced, and it was one that fans of the books had been clamoring for — Jeff Hays . The narrator, who has made the much-listened-to audiobook versions of Carl's adventures an ideal way to experience the sprawling sci-fi saga, was tapped to lend his ludicrous range to that of the spoiled talking cat Princess Donut the Queen Anne Chonk, one of the most beloved characters within Dungeon Crawler World. Not only was the decision to bring him aboard a no-brainer, but it demonstrated how the team behind the project understood the assignment when it came to doing the hit justice.
