Barbara Brych in World Fencing Semi-Final — Poland Guaranteed a Medal

Barbara Brych advanced to the semi-finals of the World Fencing Championships in Hong Kong, guaranteeing Poland at least a bronze medal in the individual épée event. She beat world number three Eszter Muhari of Hungary along the way. It is a historic individual result for Polish fencing.
