Ukraine's new top commander Drapaty raises hopes for tactical shift among troops

Mykhailo Drapaty has been appointed the new Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine's Armed Forces, replacing Oleksandr Syrskyi. Ukrainian soldiers told Interia they welcome the change, calling Drapaty a "general from the trenches" who gives hope for a new approach to fighting and an end to costly assaults on fortified positions. He rose to prominence during a bold assault in Mariupol in 2014.
