Poland's tax authority chief defends "shrimp scandal" raids: fines are educational
Marcin Łoboda, head of Poland's National Revenue Administration (KAS), told money.pl that the agency's actions in the so-called "shrimp scandal" are aimed at combating unlawful activity, not generating revenue, and that fines serve an educational purpose. He also announced upcoming changes to the National e-Invoice System (KSeF). Łoboda stressed that inspectors do not target random businesses.
