Seven ships stranded on the Danube due to record low water levels in Hungary

Seven vessels, mostly hotel-style river cruise ships, have run aground on the Danube in Hungary due to exceptionally low water levels. Passengers are being transported by bus from northern Hungary to Budapest. The situation was reported on Saturday by the Hungarian daily Nepszava.
