7-Eleven pulls out of Żabka acquisition after failing to agree on price
Japan's Seven & i Holdings, owner of the 7-Eleven chain, withdrew from talks to acquire Poland's Żabka Group on 25 July, stating that the two sides could not agree on the terms of the deal. The negotiations, which had been ongoing since mid-July, had been driving up Żabka's share price on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Following the announcement of the withdrawal, the company's shares came under pressure.
