Poland Proposes Producing Patriot Missiles Locally — Washington "Relieved"

Deputy Defence Minister Magdalena Sobkowiak-Czarnecka announced that Poland has proposed hosting the production of Patriot missile interceptors on its territory, in cooperation with the United States and Ukraine. She said American officials received the proposal "with relief." The initiative could significantly boost Poland's defence industrial capacity on NATO's eastern flank.
