Poland and Belgium push ahead with digital tax despite US pressure

Poland and Belgium are among the countries working on introducing a digital services tax targeting foreign tech giants. Despite warnings from the United States, only Turkey and Canada have so far yielded to Washington's pressure. Other countries have opted for alternative tax arrangements rather than abandoning the taxation of digital companies altogether.
