Yellow heat health alerts issued for London and most of England until Sunday morning

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) issued yellow heat health warnings for London, East Midlands, East of England, South East, South West and West Midlands from 09:00 on Thursday 24 July until 09:00 on Sunday 26 July. The yellow level signals elevated risk, particularly for elderly people and those with chronic illnesses.
