Ukraine eyes Gdańsk transit route as Russian attacks block Black Sea grain exports

Russian attacks on civilian ships and Ukrainian port infrastructure are disrupting Black Sea grain exports and driving up global prices. Wheat on the Paris MATIF exchange rose above 241–243 EUR per tonne. Ukraine is exploring alternative export routes, including transit through the Polish port of Gdańsk.
