Majorca strike threatens flights from Palma in July and August

Ground-handling staff employed by Swissport at Palma de Mallorca airport plan to strike on 28 July and on 1, 4 and 8 August. The airport is warning passengers to expect flight delays and longer queues during peak hours. The industrial action falls in the middle of the busy summer tourist season on one of Europe's most popular holiday destinations.
