Google drops Android 6.0 Marshmallow support after nearly 11 years

Google has officially ended support for Google Play Services on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The minimum requirement is now Android 7.0 Nougat, closing nearly 11 years of support for one of the longest-running Android versions. Users of older devices running Android 6.0 will lose access to Google's services.
