US to lift suspension on Mexican cattle imports from August 24
The United States announced it will begin lifting the suspension on Mexican cattle imports on August 24, more than a year after the measure was imposed due to the spread of the New World screwworm in Mexico. The parasite poses a serious threat to livestock and prompted the trade restriction.
