Legia Warszawa opened the 2026/27 Ekstraklasa season with a 1:0 win over Pogoń Szczecin, scoring the only goal in the sixth minute of stoppage time. Head coach Marek Papszun admitted after the match that he was nervous whenever his players failed to convert their chances.
