Criminal Profiler: Killer of 13-year-old Iza Finally Felt Relief After Arrest
Michał S. was detained 15 years after murdering 13-year-old Iza, having led an apparently normal life in the interim by completely compartmentalising the crime. Criminal psychologist and profiler Jan Gołębiowski explains that such perpetrators operate in two entirely separate psychological worlds. Had those worlds collided, the man might have drunk himself to death or taken his own life. After arrest, such individuals often experience a sense of relief.
