Polish government to create property manager register and penalties after 12 years without oversight
The Polish government plans to introduce a public register of property managers, raise mandatory professional liability insurance requirements, and impose financial sanctions on unreliable managers. Since deregulation in 2013, the profession has required no qualifications and no oversight, despite the total value of residential property in Poland reaching 8 trillion złoty. The new rules are intended to protect flat owners and improve service quality.
