Suicidologist: families don't know how to receive a loved one after a suicide attempt
Dr Halszka Witkowska, a suicidologist, told TVN24+ that society has no established way to receive a person who has survived a suicide attempt and returns home. Both the family and the survivor are often at a loss about how to behave. Unlike a death, a survived attempt triggers no clear social ritual, leaving both sides uncertain how to move forward.
