Amnesty International: Hungary rushing constitutional court judge appointment
Amnesty International Hungary criticised the rushed pace at which authorities plan to appoint a new Constitutional Court judge. The appointment is scheduled for the coming Monday, just over a week after the previous judge's term expired. The organisation warns this leaves no time for proper consultation and will result in a one-sided, partisan selection as before.
