Global beer output drops 1.4 billion litres — Germany and Poland among biggest losers

Global beer production fell by 1.4 billion litres in 2025 to 189.6 billion litres, according to the world's largest hop supplier BarthHaas. Africa and South America recorded growth, while Europe saw declines — with Germany and Poland among the hardest hit.
