Maserati Builds One-Off GT2 Stradale 'Tribute to MC12' for Taiwanese Collector

Maserati created a bespoke GT2 Stradale for a Taiwanese collector.

The one-off wears a Vitaphone-inspired MC12 GT1 homage livery.

It joins an earlier example of the MCXtrema with similar colors.

Maserati has unveiled the latest bespoke example of the GT2 Stradale, this time paying tribute to its predecessor. The “Tribute to MC12 ” edition was created for a Maserati collector based in Taiwan, wearing the colors of the dominant Vitaphone Racing team MC12 GT1 racecar.

The one-off came together through the automaker’s Fuoriserie customization division , working with Centro Stile and the Modena engineering team. Its livery draws on one of the Trident’s most celebrated racing chapters of the modern era: that GT1 car won the 24 Hours of Spa three times (2005, 2006, and 2008) and finished runner-up twice more (2007 and 2009).

The highlight is the bi-tone livery combining Nero Essenza with a Matte Digital Mint shade and Giallo Avia Pervia yellow accents. The theme was introduced by the MC20 Leggenda in 2024, but this is its first application in the GT2. Maserati fans might also remember the similar livery applied to the track-only MCXtrema during the 2025 Maserati International Rally at Spa-Francorchamps.

Besides the Leggenda colors, the GT2 features gloss-finished carbon fiber aero, Anodized Black center-lock wheels, and yellow brake calipers.

Inside, we find black Alcantara racing seats with yellow Trident logos on the headrests and four-point racing harnesses which are part of the Performance Plus package. Matching yellow contrast stitching covers the steering wheel, dashboard, center tunnel, and door panels, combined with carbon fiber trim and a “Tribute to MC12” badge.

As with the standard GT2 Stradale unveiled in August 2024, the Tribute to MC12 is powered by a twin-turbo 3.0-liter Nettuno V6 producing 631 hp (471 kW / 640 PS) and 720 Nm (531 lb-ft) of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The Taiwanese collector took delivery of the Italian supercar at Maserati’s historic headquarters on Viale Ciro Menotti in Modena. The handover experience includes a private tour of the factory, a journey through Emilia’s Motor Valley, and an exclusive visit to the Umberto Panini Collection.
