Duncan Scott Wins Gold for Scotland on Day One at Commonwealth Games

Scottish swimmer Duncan Scott won gold at the Tollcross pool in Glasgow on the first full day of competition at the 2026 Commonwealth Games. Scott beat friend and rival Dean among others to claim the title in front of a passionate home crowd. The win gave Scotland a golden start to the Games.
