Director Chuck Russell, Behind The Mask and The Blob, Dies at 74

Director Chuck Russell died on Wednesday at his San Diego home, aged 74. He was behind box office hits including A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, The Blob and The Mask, the latter helping launch the careers of Jim Carrey and Cameron Diaz. His 2002 film The Scorpion King gave Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson his first leading role.
