Carroll Shelby's own 1964 Cobra Daytona Coupe — the only one he kept — heads to auction

Chassis CSX2300, a 1964 Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe that was the only one of the six built owned by Carroll Shelby himself, is heading to public auction for the first time since 2009. The car was part of the championship-winning campaign that defeated Ferrari. It is considered one of the most historically significant American racing cars ever built.
