UNESCO lists occupied West Bank and Lebanese heritage sites as endangered

UNESCO has given emergency heritage listing to Sebastia in the occupied West Bank and five Lebanese castles, placing them on its endangered heritage list. The decision was made despite objections from Israel. The listings are intended to highlight the threats facing these sites.
