Dismissed solicitor Boardman still leads footballers' brain injury lawsuit
Richard Boardman, the solicitor dismissed by a group of over 1,000 rugby players with brain injuries suing the sport's governing bodies, is still leading a similar claim on behalf of dozens of former footballers, including the family of Nobby Stiles. Boardman told a hearing at the Royal Courts of Justice of his intention to withdraw from the rugby case, with claimants unanimously agreeing to end their relationship with his firm, Rylands Garth. His involvement in the footballers' brain injury lawsuit continues unaffected.
