BlackRock, Coinbase and Strategy pledge $15M to make Bitcoin quantum-proof

Nine major institutional Bitcoin players — including BlackRock, Coinbase and Strategy — have formed a consortium pledging $15 million to fund developers securing the Bitcoin network. A key focus is protecting the network against potential future attacks from quantum computers. It represents one of the largest collective institutional efforts to safeguard the Bitcoin protocol.
