Argentine suspect in 2023 Mexico model strangling arrested in Oregon

An Argentine man wanted for the strangling of his model girlfriend Agostina Jalabert in Mexico in 2023 has been arrested in the US state of Oregon. The victim's sister reacted to the arrest by saying: "For us, this is like Christmas." The suspect had been at large for nearly two years following the killing.
