"Ghosts" shakes up its rules: Ben Feldman joins as series regular for season 6

As Ghosts begins filming its sixth season this week , the hit CBS series is making several major moves before it returns. Earlier this year, it was announced that the series would be returning as a midseason release , preceded by two holiday specials at Halloween and Christmas, comprising the first four episodes of the season. Recently, the series also bumped frequent guest star Ben Feldman up to series regular status . Feldman’s presence in the series gives the ghosts a second living to talk to — and boss around — in addition to Sam ( Rose McIver ), and having him there regularly shakes up the dynamics at Woodstone in a way that is expected to make the series feel fresh as it approaches the 100-episode mark this season.
