Netflix nearly pulled Michael Jackson docuseries a week before its release

Netflix considered pulling the three-part docuseries "Michael Jackson: The Verdict" just one week before its scheduled premiere, fearing a backlash, according to Variety. The series re-examines Jackson's 2005 criminal trial, in which he was acquitted of all charges, including child molestation. It ultimately premiered as planned on June 3.
