Poland's data watchdog fines property owner 26,000 zł for cameras pointed at neighbours
Poland's Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) has fined a property owner over 26,000 zł for failing to comply with a previous order to remove surveillance cameras. The cameras were pointed at neighbouring properties and a public road, violating residents' privacy. This is the first such penalty in Poland for non-compliance with a UODO order concerning video surveillance.
