Podolski buys return tickets for Górnik fans detained in Istanbul

Nine Górnik Zabrze supporters were detained by Turkish police in Istanbul before their match against Fenerbahçe following clashes with officers. Club majority owner Lukas Podolski stepped in and bought the detained fans their return tickets home. The gesture drew widespread praise.
