Over 1,000 arrested in Gulf states for documenting Iranian strikes
Since the Iran–US conflict began on February 28, more than 1,000 people have been arrested in Jordan and Gulf states allied with Washington for attempting to document Iranian strikes. Governments in the region have moved to suppress images of the attacks and maintain an official narrative denying the strikes hit their targets. The crackdown has included arrests and the removal of footage from social media.
