'The Dink' Writer Sean Clements on Making a Comedy About Pickleball's Turf Wars

Comedy writer Sean Clements was inspired by a local turf war over pickleball courts to create the series The Dink. Pickleball has surged in popularity over the last decade as a lower-impact alternative to tennis. Clements says that while researching, he was effectively "adopted" by a group of older women who play the sport.
