Fake pedestrian crossings: where walkers have no right of way

So-called "fake" pedestrian crossings are appearing mainly on cycle paths in Poland, resembling standard crossings but granting pedestrians no right of way. They can be identified by the absence of the standard white stripes or by signage directed only at cyclists. Pedestrians who assume they have priority at these markings risk dangerous encounters with cyclists.
