Terlecki stays with Morawiecki's group, accuses PiS loyalists of leading party to defeat
Ryszard Terlecki, a long-time close ally of Jarosław Kaczyński, has refused PiS's ultimatum and remained in Mateusz Morawiecki's association. He posted on social media that Kaczyński remains the greatest Polish politician of the last 35 years, but that those around him — whom he labelled "Maślarze" — are steering PiS to defeat. Political scientist Prof. Adam Gendźwiłł suggested Morawiecki's new party could eventually help PiS return to power without needing to ally with Grzegorz Braun.
