Massive fires near Madrid and Cap Ferret force tens of thousands to evacuate

Tens of thousands of people fled by car and boat from wildfires on France's Cap Ferret peninsula in south-western France. Spain declared a state of emergency after massive fires merged near Madrid. Record heat has left dry conditions and high fire risk across almost all of Europe.
