Toll booths on A4 motorway between Wrocław and Gliwice to be dismantled; Kraków stretch free in 2027

Poland's road authority GDDKiA is removing toll booth infrastructure on the A4 motorway between Wrocław and Gliwice, where car and motorcycle drivers have not paid tolls for three years. The physical structures have remained in place but will now be cleared. By 2027, the Katowice–Kraków stretch is also set to become free, creating a toll-free route all the way from Wrocław to Kraków.
