Sony patents fix for PlayStation controller drift problem

Sony has filed a new patent that could resolve the persistent analogue stick drift problem affecting DualSense controllers for the PS5. Drift causes the stick to register movement without being touched, one of the most common and frustrating controller faults. The patent raises hopes that future PlayStation controllers will be free of the issue.
