PiS politicians accuse Morawiecki of opposing F-35 purchase and 500+ programme

PiS spokesman Rafał Bochenek and former Defence Minister Mariusz Błaszczak have accused ex-prime minister Mateusz Morawiecki of having opposed both the F-35 fighter jet purchase and the flagship 500+ child benefit programme. The accusations come amid a deep split in the party, as Morawiecki's Rozwój Plus association announced it is leaving PiS. Tensions within Jarosław Kaczyński's party remain extremely high.
