Krugman: Real oil cost hits $140 — another Iran war round could crush the economy
Nobel laureate economist Paul Krugman warns that another round of conflict with Iran, triggered by President Donald Trump, will be more costly than the first because global commodity reserves are nearly depleted. He estimates the real cost of a barrel of oil is already around $140. Krugman says the economic outlook is bleak.
