Charter Loses More Broadband Subscribers Than Expected, Shares Plunge
Charter Communications lost more broadband subscribers than analysts had expected, sending its stock sharply lower. The company did, however, add more than 400,000 new mobile lines during the period. The results highlight the ongoing erosion of Charter's core internet business even as its mobile segment grows.
