Nawrocki signs five laws, refers fuel windfall-tax bill to Constitutional Tribunal
President Karol Nawrocki signed five bills into law: the chain-tethering ban, a tourist voucher law, an artificial intelligence systems act, an anti-drug law, and a National Oncology Network act. He simultaneously referred a proposed windfall tax on profits from the sale of liquid fuels — covering March to December 2026 — to the Constitutional Tribunal. All decisions were announced on the same day.
