CAS rejects Lechia Gdańsk appeal — club stays out of Ekstraklasa

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has rejected Lechia Gdańsk's appeal, ending the club's hopes of returning to the Ekstraklasa. The club was relegated last season after starting the campaign with a five-point deduction and finishing 16th. Supporters of the Gdańsk club must now accept football at a lower level of Polish football.
