Morawiecki after PiS split: I fought for unity until the very last moment

Mateusz Morawiecki addressed the Sejm following Jarosław Kaczyński's announcement of a PiS split, saying he had fought for party unity until the very last moment and even sent Kaczyński a letter with new proposals on the morning of the announcement. He confirmed the breakaway group comprises 40 MPs, one senator and three MEPs.
