Poland's NFZ allocates nearly 600 million zloty to cover hospitals' over-limit drug costs

Poland's National Health Fund (NFZ) is allocating nearly 600 million zloty to reimburse hospitals for drug programme and chemotherapy treatments delivered above contract limits. The funds cover over-limit services from Q1 2026 and are intended to keep hospitals financially liquid and ensure timely payments for expensive patient therapies.
