Morawiecki: we fought for PiS unity until the very last moment

Mateusz Morawiecki revealed he sent a letter with new proposals to PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński that very morning in a last-ditch effort to prevent a party split. He stressed that his camp acted in good faith until the end, fighting for the unity of the political grouping. The press conference came hours after Kaczyński announced that around 30 MPs had left PiS.
